dtv extends distribution contract with KNO VA

Stuttgart, 07.05.2019. dtv Verlagsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG has prematurely extended its distribution contract with KNO Verlagsauslieferung GmbH, which expires at the end of the year, for a further two years. The renowned Munich-based publisher has been with KNO VA since it was founded in 1960 and is now entrusting its titles to the Stuttgart-based distributor until 2021.

Michael Braun, Managing Director of dtv, is satisfied with the performance of KNO Verlagsauslieferung: "Even in insolvency, the quality has remained at a very high level. We have confidence in the work of the insolvency administrator, the management and the employees and are certain that the company has good prospects for the future. It is important to us to give KNO VA planning security at a very early stage."

For the insolvency administrator of the KNV Group, lawyer Tobias Wahl, this is good news for the process of finding an investor: "dtv's decision is also a commitment to KNO VA. We are very pleased that we are currently receiving such positive feedback from many of our delivery customers. This confirms and strengthens us in our plan to continue and maintain the KNV Group with the help of an investor," says Tobias Wahl.
