Two years of Buch&Co.: More services and members
Stuttgart, March 9, 2021: The book trade cooperation Buch&Co. is celebrating its anniversary. To mark the two-year anniversary of Buch&Co., Zeitfracht is offering even more services for the more than 400 members of the cooperative group and simplifying product range design with new category management modules.
Booksellers can now choose the right modules for them from 14 categories, for which the Buch&Co. team automatically compiles the top titles. "Simple, fast, uncomplicated. By streamlining category management, we want to ensure that as many booksellers as possible exploit the high potential in the non-fiction and how-to sector," says Stefanie Wittram, who is responsible for category management at Zeitfracht GmbH. Categories such as "Hobby and creativity", "Nature, garden and animals" or "Politics, society, business" are available for selection.
For two years now, the category management concept has been offering themes and campaigns that make bookstores more attractive and varied. In addition, all participating bookstores receive comprehensive advertising support, particularly in the online and social media area. All members of the cooperation can purchase over 3,500 titles from the integrated central warehouse at special conditions.
"Despite the special situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we have recorded strong growth in membership in recent months. This shows that we are on the right track with our purchasing model and outstanding category management concept. Whether in Germany, Austria or South Tyrol, the feedback from Buch&Co. members about our services has been very positive, even during the crisis. We continue to see great potential," says Thomas Raff, CEO of Zeitfracht GmbH. In future, Zeitfracht plans to focus even more strongly on the Buch&Co. brand so that booksellers can intensify their customer loyalty and tap into new target groups.
